After seven weeks of renovations and refurbishment, the Lakeside Villas at Crittenden Estate have reopened for business, welcoming back visitors both new and existing.
Located in Dromana’s hinterland and alongside one of the region’s most famous wineries, the three luxury villas have become a popular getaway destination for couples and groups.
Now, and following significant renovations, the self-contained accommodation abodes are refreshed and re-inspired with a warm, earthy and organic tone and style.
For Linda Crittenden, Managing Owner of the Lakeside Villas, the overall experience has been something challenging yet completely rewarding.
“It’s been a labour of love and a lot of hard work. There were a few hiccups, but it was mainly a seamless, amazing experience. It was stressful, there was a lot of pressure, but the outcome now is divine and worth it,” she said.
Aligning with the Mornington Peninsula’s strong Business Events industry, the Lakeside Villas represent an inviting place to stay for small organisations to get away and reconnect.
The site of Crittenden Estate is additionally home to a Wine Centre and restaurant, and is close to the Dromana beaches and other top dining and adventure attractions of the region.
According to Linda, it’s the tranquillity, peace and privacy which act as the main attractions for the Lakeside Villas, with each of the one-bedroom houses nestled alongside the lake and vineyard.
“It's a home away from home. So they're comfortable, completely immersed and relaxed,” she said.
