We recently spoke with Lisa Moloney, the new Corporate Groups and Events Specialist at Alba Thermal Springs & Spa. Very experienced in the world of events to the corporate market Lisa now calls the Peninsula home. She is a passionate industry professional who is proud to now showcase Alba to all.

Is there anything new within in your business to share?

We are excited to see the construction of The Ridge underway. This is a section of the property that overlooks the Peninsula with 3 new pools. It will be available for private groups of up to 40 guests with food and beverage available to be served poolside.

What is your insider tip for event planners in bringing their events to the Mornington Peninsula?

Ensure you schedule into your program time for your group to enjoy some of the unique activities on offer on the Peninsula, like bathing in natural geo-thermal springs!

What trend do you see emerging with events on the Mornington Peninsula?

Work-life balance and health and wellness has become an important component of an event or conference itinerary.

What do you think surprises people when they visit the Mornington Peninsula?

Event organisers are always surprised to discover that within 1 hour from Melbourne, the Peninsula offers such a diverse range of venues and unique offsite options. The Peninsula boasts easy access for transporting delegates around with a great variety of unique venues and experiences all within a close proximity.

Swisse Vitamins Launch

We curated a bespoke event where Swisse Vitamins launched a new supplement to their key buyers and high value influencers for a 3 day retreat. Utilising Alba’s private event space in our spa area, guests were treated to a personalised skin analysis, customised spa treatments and were also photographed around the beautiful architecture and landscape of Alba. Key ingredients including rosemary and grapefruit that were featured in the new supplement were also incorporated into beautiful mocktails and meals prepared by our food & beverage staff. Booking the private space meant Swiss could also incorporate personalised theming during their stay.
